We are facing the biggest challenge humankind has ever had to resolve. Our way of life, our travels, our consumption, and our political choices make each and every one of us responsible. Hence, we all have to join the action to find a solution. This year, we would like to invite you to showcase the emergency and the actions to take through the theme "ACT NOW on climate change".
We've been very inspired by the article "Resist and Create" by Cyril Dion and the collective ON EST PRÊT published at Cannes Film Festival 2019. But it is mainly the breathtaking worldwide movement of young people that changes everything: they provoke, challenge and question with passion and enthusiasm.
So, with the 15 years of the Mobile Film Festival, and mostly the youth of our creators, we want to contribute by offering your films to the world. Through your stories, your films, their universality (+81 countries submitted films in 2018), their great exposure on the Internet and social networks (22 million views for the Stand Up for Human Rights edition in 2018), we want to join the fight by bringing awareness and challenging the public and the decision-makers to ACT NOW to build a livable future.
Get inspired by the 90 NGOs from around the world that support the festival, highlight positive actions, choices of societies, but also criticize and denounce what you think should change.
For 15 years, we have been building with directors submitting films, a unique relationship based on creativity, youth, and freedom.
This year, we can't wait to get your films to act here and now on climate change.
