Roy W. Dean Grant Email Spring 2019 Last Chance

The April 30th deadline for Spring 2019 Roy W. Dean Film Grant is fast approaching. Just enough time for indie filmmakers to prepare a submission to the grant that seeks a unique film that makes a contribution to society. Winner will receive $3,500 cash and $30,000 in film production services to shoot and finish their project.
An Important Lifeline for Filmmakers
Initiated 27 years ago by top rated non-profit From the Heart Productions, the grant has been a key resource for filmmakers to keep their projects alive. After years in production, Roy W. Dean Grant Winners “Kusama-Infinity” and “Raise Hell: The Life and Times of Molly Ivins” were finally finished and recently released to acclaim in festivals and theaters.
The Roy W. Dean Grant is open to documentaries, short films, features, or web series. Students can apply as well. Projects must be budgeted under $500K.
Each Applicant Gets a Free Consultation on Their Project
Applicants can schedule their 15-minute consultation after the grant closes. The can discuss any aspect of their film they’d like including marketing, fundraising, and proposals.
In addition to the the $3,500 cash prize, the winner receives goods and services such as from 40% deduction on color, editing, and sound from ProMedia, and 30% discount in equipment rental from AbelCine Tech,Inc. NYC, $500 in expendables from Filmtools, a 6tb Glyph Studio Raid hard drive from Glyph Production Technologies, and much more from many heartfelt donors.
