Concordia Film Festival Call for Entries
March 13, 2019
The Concordia Film Festival (CFF) is a student-run, non-profit festival that runs in collaboration with the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema (MHSoC) at Concordia University. Founded in 1973, The CFF is the oldest student-run film festival in North America. Through screenings and events, we are able to display the works produced by the diverse range of filmmakers at MHSoC, and invited works from filmmakers around the globe. The MSHoC stands as the largest university-based center for the study of film in Canada, with a body of works that are also screened to great acclaim at festivals around the world.
In addition to the programming of films from Concordia Cinema students and other institutions, the CFF is proud to present “Visions” and “Open Competition”. “Open Competition” is a section open to all cinema, communications and media students who have completed a film within the past year, while in school. Visions is open to students of colour, queer students, or queer students of colour at a post-secondary institution in cinema, communications and media students who have completed a film within the past year, while in school.
We here at the CFF would like to invite any film students part of your institution to participate in the 46th Annual Concordia Film Festival, held from May 2-5, 2019.

As Visions has a specific set of submission instructions which is attached in this email. They are available in both English and French. Please note that submissions are currently accepted until March 31st.
