Composer for Student Films
November 7, 2018
Hello, film students of the great University of Texas! This message is primarily for seniors or graduate students who are starting to work on (or at least think about) their final projects toward their degrees.
I am an experienced music composer, producer, and sound designer and I’ve recently relocated back to Austin after several years working in the wonderful music and media community of New York City. I’ve composed extensively for television, web media, and creative artistic projects, and I’ve had the good fortune of working with Grammy-winners and national TV networks. I’m passionate about film music, however, and I’m looking to build my underscore portfolio by collaborating with fellow creative minds who are in the process of developing their filmmaking careers. I would love to offer my services as a soundtrack and underscoring composer to any students with a good idea of what you’ll need in that regard as your projects take shape.
Since I’m a full-time professional, my services aren’t free, but my rates are very competitive, my turnaround time is fast, and I can handle everything in-house: writing, arranging, recording, mixing, mastering, and syncing audio to video. I can promise a very high quality of work, a friendly attitude, and significantly lower rates to students than I would ever offer to commercial studios. If you’re interested, please feel free to reach out via email at email@example.com. Thanks very much!
