It starts on Wednesday, March 1st, 2017 and ends on Friday, April 14th, 2017 at 5:00 PM EST.
Videos must be submitted by April 14, 2017 at 5:00 PM EST We will be judging purely on how creative, educational and memorable the video is.

Rules & Guidelines:
All entries must be a digital video.
Each entry must focus on ONE of following topics as it relates to meeting efficiency:
Preparing for a Meeting
The Invitation Subject Line
Objective & Agenda
Running a Meeting
Participants must submit entries as individuals.
The length of the video should not exceed 3 minutes.
All entries should begin with a 10 second full-screen “title screen” that includes the following information:
Lead Producer’s name
School name (if applicable)
Title of video
Total running time (not including the 10 second title screen)
All information presented in the video must be cited, giving credit to the original source. Plagiarism of any kind will result in disqualification. IF CHOSEN AS A FINALIST, you must submit a list of your sources, properly cited.
Each video must have one Lead Producer to serve as the main point of contact. Recognition and prizes will be given to the lead producer.
There is no entry fee.
Entries may be submitted through the website starting on March 1st, 2017. The deadline for submissions is 5:00 pm (eastern time, US) on Friday April 14th, 2017. Winners will be announced no later than Friday April 28,2017.
All entries must be submitted in digital format. Students should keep at least one copy of their video. Population Connection is not responsible for any films that are lost, damaged, or that do not upload properly.
No copyrighted materials (music, images, etc.) may be used for this contest unless you own the copyright or have a license to use the material for this contest. Written permission must be obtained and provided upon request for all copyrighted materials.
All portions of the online entry form must be completed when you upload your video for it to be eligible.
Ownership of the underlying intellectual property of the project remains with the entrant, with the following exceptions:
Entrants grant ThinkRite the right to use their names, photographs, statements, quotes, testimonials, and video submissions for advertising, publicity, and promotional purposes without notification or further compensation.
Entrants also grant ThinkRite the right to use, reproduce, reprint, distribute, perform, and/or display the entrant’s project video without further compensation or notification to the entrant.
ThinkRite maintains the right to reproduce, reprint, distribute, perform, display, or exhibit the project for advertising, publicity, and promotional purposes on their website, at conferences, or at any other venues.
ThinkRite has the right to photograph, voice recording, poses, plays, appearances and other reproductions of physical likeness or Actor appearing in this video.
Content must comply with all local and national laws of the United States. Content must not 1) promote illegal behavior; 2) support racial, religious, sexual, or other invidious prejudice; 3) advocate sexual or violent exploitation; 4) violate rights established by law or agreement; 5) invade the privacy of any person; or 6) be otherwise inappropriate.
The judges’ decision is final.
The only compensation for submitting a video is the opportunity to be awarded a prize if the entry wins.
Awards will be presented as follows: Winning video teams and/or their schools will receive prizes and recognition provided by ThinkRite. The top 3 entries will receive a prize:
1st Place – US $2,000.00
2nd Place – US $1,000.00
3rd Place – US $500.00
By accepting the prizes, winners agree to hold ThinkRite and all ThinkRite employees harmless against any and all claims and liability arising out of use of such prizes. Winner assumes all liability for any injury or damage caused from participation in the contest or use/redemption of any prize.
Entrants agree to be bound by the official contest rules and decisions of the judges.
